Bridgerton Season 1: An Anonymous Review Of Love, Passion, and Realistic Relationships
Share
Have you watched Bridgerton Season1? We recently received an intriguing submission from an anonymous viewer who just finished watching the first season of Bridgerton. Here are their thoughts on the relationships portrayed in the show:
Passion or Toxicity?
Daphne and Simon’s relationship is undeniably full of passion and chemistry, but the anonymous reviewer found it somewhat toxic. Daphne's efforts to change Simon's mind about having kids and marriage highlight significant issues. While they do end up on the same page, it feels more like a typical show’s happy ending rather than a realistic resolution. The relationship appears delicate, with potential for future conflicts and a cycle of arguing and make-up sex.
Realistic Breakups
In contrast, Daphne's older brother Anthony's breakup with his mistress felt more realistic. Despite their love and passion, they realized that love alone wasn't enough to make the relationship work due to the many compromises needed. This highlights that for a relationship to be truly successful, it needs more than just love and passion; it requires mutual understanding and shared values.
